From The Principal’s Desk
I am thrilled to be the Principal at Grace Christian School and to have the opportunity to lead this school towards an excellent education with a Christian worldview. It is my honor to continue building upon the strong foundation that has been laid over the past 40 years by those who have gone before me. The fruits of their labor are a blessing, and I am excited to see how God leads GCS into the next 40 years.
My prayer for the students of GCS is that they will develop a love for learning but importantly that they would be a people who seek to exalt Christ above all else. We train our students here at Grace to strive to glorify God with their lives and to diligently discipline their hearts and minds so they can delight in the wisdom of our Savior. I believe that our graduates move on from Grace well equipped to pursue their unique callings and ready to enter the world as strong Christians in whatever they choose to do post high school.
Grace Christian School began 40 years ago through the vision of five local churches that saw a need for Christian education in the greater southwest Michigan region. This year our student body represents about 28 area churches and many of our graduates are connected to even more. The record of our graduates is great. Yearly they score well above the national average on the ACTs, allowing them to regularly enroll in competitive colleges, often with generous scholarships. In last year’s class alone three of our graduates were given full scholarships to the university of their choice because of their high GPA and ACT scores. More importantly, though, our students grow in spiritual maturity while they attend Grace. They develop Christ-like qualities that make GCS students not just academics, but academic disciples.
The best way to discover our strong academic, Christ-centered school is to visit us and talk with our students, parents, and staff. Please do not hesitate to contact our main office at 269-463-5545 if you would like to make an appointment to meet with us.
