Why do you teach in a Christian school?
“ I am so thankful that I am able to share daily what my Savior has done for me and how He guides and comforts me along life’s way through His Word and spiritual songs. I love our chapel time where we have the freedom to worship together. Teaching beside such dear fellow Christians is a privilege for which I am very grateful.”

Prior to teaching at Grace, Mrs. Johnson taught for two years at a Christian school in Florida. She took a break from the classroom when she had her children, and after homeschooling for a time, returned to the classroom in 2003. Married to Jeffrey, the Johnsons have four children: Sarah (GCS Alumni, ‘10), Jenny (GCS Alumni,’12), Jeremy and Rebecca (current GCS students). They have attended Napier Parkview Baptist Church for 24 years, where Mrs. Johnson has helped in various children’s ministries.

Mrs. Johnson enjoys photographing nature, especially birds, and seeks to instill in her students a passion for our great Creator and the beauty He has placed in our own backyards.
