Why do you teach in a Christian school?
“ I love being able to share my faith with my fellow teachers, pray with my students and parents, and teach about God and all He does for us. In Young 5’s, these are sometimes all-new experiences and I have seen hearts change even at this early age. I feel extremely blessed to be teaching at Grace.”
Mrs. Horton has spent more than a decade in education, having previously taught in the Millington, MI, school district at various grade levels. She loves serving her church family (Watervliet Free Methodist), and in the past has volunteered as food pantry coordinator, head steward; Christian Live Club Wednesday night leader, and church secretary.
Her immediate family includes her husband, Steve, and their son, Jeff. Mrs. Horton enjoys reading, gardening, and baking; she also holds an AA in Medical Assistance from Davenport University.
