Why do you teach in a Christian school?
“I believe that we are commanded in scripture to pass on the word of God to our children through all aspects of life. Early childhood is a very impressionable time of life. A Christ-centered program for early childhood allows parents the peace of mind that their child will be cared for in a loving, Christ- centered environment where their child will learn to love God and master the skills of life. I believe this is a ministry to children that fills Jesus’ command ‘Let the little children come.”
Mrs. Reeve has spent most of her adult life working with young children. Since 1983, she has taught in preschools in Nebraska, Arizona, and California, serving as a director for 2 years during that time.
She and her husband, Scott (pastor, Oakridge Baptist Church; Grace Christian School board member) have four children: Joshua, Benjamin, Sarah (current Grace Christian School student) and Isaac (current Grace Christian School student). At Oakridge, Mrs. Reeve teaches the Pre-K Sunday school and women’s Bible study, works in the food pantry, and plays for the worship team.
