Secretary

Mrs. Joan Skipper grew up in Stevensville and graduated from Lake Michigan College and St. Mary’s College. She started out working at an insurance agency but decided to stay at home with her sons when they were born. Joan homeschooled them for eight years and the boys are now in 9th and 5th grades at Grace Christian School. She lives in Stevensville with her husband, Mike, two sons, Adam and Jacob, and their cat. She and her family are members of Berrien County Baptist Church in Stevensville and have been attending for 13 years. In her free time, Joan enjoys games with the kids, playing the piano, reading, and being outdoors. She is excited to be a part of Grace Christian School. One of her favorite Bible verses is Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Job Description/Class Overview:

Mrs. Skipper is a part time secretary who, along with Miss Sheri, takes care of all things secretarial. She also maintains the medication log and ensures that all of the medication procedures are correctly followed. We are so grateful to have had Mrs. Skipper join us this year!
