Mrs. Cheske graduated from Immanuel Christian School in 1996 and went on to study nursing at Southwestern Michigan College, and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She spent the past 27 years working as a Certified Medical Assistant. Throughout her career, Mrs. Cheske developed a strong passion for caring for and supporting others.

Msr. Cheske also worked at the YMCA in St. Joseph, serving as a co-teacher in the summer Adventure Camp program and substitute teaching in preschool classrooms. Those experiences helped her discover how much she loves encouraging children as they learn, grow, and develop.

Mrs. Cheske is married to her husband, David, and has four children, and the youngest, Phoenix, attends Grace Christian School. Mrs. Cheske is actively involved in the children’s ministry at her church. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she feels especially blessed to have the opportunity to share God’s love, kindness, and encouragement with the children in her classroom.

Outside of school, Mrs. Cheske enjoys spending time with family, camping, traveling, and exploring different countries and cultures, as well as attending live sporting events and cheering on our favorite teams. She also enjoy cardio drumming and staying active.

Mrs. Cheske is excited to be part of the Grace Christian School family. She looks forward to getting to know each child and family and creating a classroom where every child feels loved, encouraged, safe, and excited to learn.
