Mrs. Litten earned her Bachelors of Science in Theatre from the University of Southern Indiana in 2012, her Master of Arts in Teaching: K-5 Education from Belmont University in Tennessee in 2016 and an Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction: Elementary Education in 2021. She has taught for 7 years, 3 in Tennessee and 4 in Michigan. She’s previously taught kindergarten, first and third grade in both states.

She met her husband Brian while they both were teaching in different schools in Tennessee and got married just before moving up to Michigan in 2020. Mrs. Litten and her husband have 2 girls, Leah and Reagan, and a black lab named Ace. In her spare time Mrs. Litten likes to read, bake, play with her children and go to the beach or pool.
