2nd Grade

After graduating from Kalamazoo Christian High School, Mrs. Tavernier went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University. Since she was a little girl, Mrs. Tavernier always wanted to be a teacher at a Christian School.  She loved her Christian education growing up and loves sharing Jesus with others. For the last 23 years Mrs. Tavernier has worked as a substitute teacher, taught Sunday School and briefly owned a bookstore in New Buffalo. Mrs. Tavernier’s latest adventure has been learning to tap dance. Welcome our new 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Tavernier.
